Kathy Reed Productions, LLC is owned and operated by Kathy Reed. Kathy founded the critically acclaimed Dam Site Dinner Theater in 1975, which grew to be the longest continual running dinner theater in New Jersey, producing 115 comedy, dramas and musical stage plays for thousands of people, as well as touring staged shows. In ’83, her emphasis shifted as she guided Kathy Reed Productions, LLC to become one of the leaders in the Interactive Event Industry, from her inimitable ability to create one of a kind programs as diverse as: a Corporate Medieval Murder On Cue® Maze for a Family Picnic Day for over 1000 on the beach complete with a Joust On Horseback; a Corporate Team Building Game Show for 500 attendees at a Casino; City Scavenger Adventure Hunts for 300, to a sold out run of their original Speakeasy Murder On Cue® Mystery at the Palace Theater in A.C.

Kathy Reed Productions LLC is a Multiple Award Winning Professional Production Company, having won the award for Best Entertainment Concept and Team Building in the 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 Garden State Gala Awards, as well as awards for best Corporate Event, Collaborative Event and the prestigious President’s Award.  Kathy also won the Audience Favorite Award at the 2006 Long Island B.F Film Festival for Death Row, a short film she produced.  Kathy is a former Director of Program and Education for NJ International Special Events Society North.

Murder On Cue® Mysteries  (A Division of Kathy Reed Productions, LLC.)

Formed in 1986 it began with an extended Murder Mystery Tour through the Northwest Passage in Washington State.  Murder On Cue® became the first Company to produce Interactive Murder Mysteries regularly in a Dinner Theater setting in NJ.   This unique, off the wall and wacky style of Comedy Mysteries has been hailed with both audience and critical acclaim.

Since 1986, KRP’s individualized style has produced Murder On Cue® Mystery Shows for groups of less than 10 to over 1000. With over 25 years of productions for thousands of people, they are currently one of the most experienced Producers of Murder Mysteries in the nation.

Kathy has an unmatched, extensive producing background including every area of production, on stage and off, behind stage and in the house, as well as overseeing food service and working directly with kitchens/restaurants/caterers and or venues to execute perfectly timed and coordinated staged and improvisational shows since 1975.  This experience and understanding gives her an innate ability to work with your selected venue/location to ensure your event will be seamlessly successful.  She prides herself in knowing what an audience likes. . and doesn’t like.  Her priority is to make You – the Client, happy.  Period.
